May 6 is Give Local America, a national giving day to ignite generosity for causes in the local communities where we live, work, and play! Give Local America reminds us that everyone can be a philanthropist. Across the country, local nonprofits, community foundations, and individuals will come together to give to causes that affect their communities.

Give Local America is a great day for you to get out and give to all your favorite nonprofits and schools on GiveMN. While there are no prize grants or leaderboards like on Give to the Max Day, you can find many organizations who are offering matching grants here.

Here are some of the great nonprofits and schools in Minnesota that are participating in this year’s event. Check out their pages and consider making a gift!

Thanks for using GiveMN and thanks for giving local, Minnesota!
